NV: Long Lyons dispute resolved
A long-running water rights dispute – resolution negotiations have been underway for more than two years – involving private parties and Lyons County, Nevada, appears to have been resolved.
The battle pitted Bedford Investments and Darrell Schue, who owned a slice of property within the county, against developers Dayton Valley Investors, and Lyon County.
Settlement efforts have been underway almost since the dispute started, and have even involved the state supreme court. [see the Reno Gazette Journal, May 1]
